Gigi update, October 12
I don’t have the energy for something pretty, so here’s the bullet point version:
Mom had a major stroke yesterday morning. I took her to the ER immediately
They moved quickly and determined that she was a good candidate for a thromboidectomy.
They moved her to the hospital that does those the best, the procedure took about 10 minutes, they got the blockage out and blood flow is back to 100%.
Sam and I are taking turns sitting with her.
There has been definite improvement, but not anything miraculous; she still had a stroke.
Please keep your well-wishes coming, I’ll read any comments to her.
I am new to this forum & a long time listener to the podcast cast. I am so sorry to hear about Gigi. I hope that she has a speedy recovery.
