Dress: some assembly required
I’m making a dress to wear to a nephew’s wedding. Here you see the pattern, wearable muslin in progress, and the final fabric.

The fabric was my soghati from Andrew’s trip to India last year. (Did I talk about this on the podcast? I can’t even remember.)

This is Kanchi silk, and per the salesman, the provenance of the fabric is important. (I haven’t looked it up yet, but I will.)

No major updates, recovery is slow, but she’s in good spirits and certainly still has her sense of humor.



That fabric is luscious! I’m very happy to hear GiGi is recovering slowly but steadily. You all are very missed. Continued prayers for your family
